Jihad on the rise in America, but America in denial about it
The gunman who opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 12 and injuring 31, is just the latest example of Jihad in America that Americans are all too quick to ignore.
The gunman was Muslim, and he did shout “Allahu Akbar” before opening fire, but ABC correspondent Martha Raddatz just “wish[es] his name was Smith.”
But his name isn’t Smith, and that’s the problem. His name was Malik Nadal Hasan, and it’s not the first example of violence fueled by a certain religion. (Just read the Baghdad Daily for more examples.)

The fact is that radical Islamic terrorism is a big threat, and for the US to continue denying it, as if no violence has ever been carried out because of some interpretations of the Muslim religion, is a deadly problem.
“Compassion Fatigue.” “Overstretched Military.”
There is no shortage of media theories for why he did this, but none of their theories mention the fact that he came in dressed in Islamic garb, praising Allah before his rampage, and that he previously praised suicide bombers.
This is not how the media treats Christianity-influenced murders.
When abortionist George Tiller was killed, the media blamed the conservative Christian movement and especially Bill O’Reilly for “promoting terrorism.”
O’Reilly attacked Tiller’s use of abortion, but he didn’t ever advocate violence against Tiller.
He didn’t ever tell children to “annihilate the Jews” and “commit Martyrdom,” as Terrorist Mouse does in his Hamas children’s show:
Yes, there is a powerful movement being pushed by Muslim leaders around the world to radicalize Muslims and promote terrorism, starting even with children, as you can see in their propaganda networks:
There is a threat of Islamic terrorism, as anyone can plainly see from those videos, from 9/11, from the Madrid bombings, from the London bombings, from the constant bombings in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Israel, from the other shootings of military recruitment centers in America that the media ignores and even from the Islamo-governments in places such as Iran, and it has been killing people, and to solve that problem you actually need to identify the problem.
Americans rationalize: Christianity kills, too, look at George Tiller. Christians kill, too.
Christians killing isn’t a point, because people wearing shoes kill.
Christianity-fueled murders, like that of Tiller, do happen sometimes, but looking at what poses a bigger threat, Christianity or Islam, Christianity doesn’t have TV shows with Bugs Bunny telling kids to kill. Islam has caused more religious violence in America in the past few years while having a much smaller population than Christianity.

We Americans have admitted that Christianity sometimes results in violence. Why can’t we confront the problem of radical Islam?

Well said. In addition, Christianity doesn’t teach that you should kill while Islam does. And Christianity doesn’t teach that you should lie to advance the religion, while Islam does. So even when CAIR denounces the acts of this Muslim you can’t trust them.
