You know how the People’s Liberation Army finds such talented recruits? (Like this and this and this.)

The evaluation for women wanting to join the Chinese military now includes a “talent show,” which involves signing or dancing, along with judgments on beauty and “impression.”

As the Wall Street Journal reports:

Wang Bosheng, a member of the National People’s Congress and an interview judge, told China Daily that the talent show would help ensure the selection of the right people for the job. (He seemed to enjoy the performances, saying “It is amazing to see so many girls with such great gifts.”)
