A campaign for conservatives…
Socialists across the World are a funny, confused lot. Ask them what or who exactly they oppose, and they will fumble and start marking racists, capitalists, conservatives, all under one broad heading as right-wingers. While the approach is hilariously childish, it also shows an inherent problem within the conservative movement.
Lately conservatism has become a platform for multiple people with multiple agendas, which if noted carefully, is no way related to classical “Laissez Faire” free market capitalism of the 19th century, which started with the American war of independence, the French revolution, Renaissance, and the industrial revolution in Europe. It was a time, when the society was amoral, people rebelled against the church, and Marquis Sade started to write dungeon-porn, which later became famous as Sado-Masochism…
Today right-wingers are commonly mistaken to be racist and religious fanatics, courtesy, people like Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Nick Griffin, Osama (who by the way, fought against the soviets, in the name of God), and your ever irritated 80 year old aunt next door. ‘Cause, free-market capitalism, and morality, values, religion, and race, never goes together, never went and never will.
